Edmonton-based marketing company Zag approached us when they needed to make a web and television commercial for their client, Golden Life. One of the most important aspects of our role was clearly understanding the messaging provided by our marketing team collaborators, and the goals of their client, to translate it effectively for the screen. We needed to film the Golden Life facilities in a way that was warm, inviting and fun, matching the Golden Life brand promise of a life of continued health, wellness and opportunity for connection. We provided leadership in the pre-production planning, scripting, talent scouting and production co-ordination, as well as led the filming day and post-production services. The commercial successfully aired its debut during the Calgary Flames game, and is continuing to fill prime time advertising spots on Rogers and Global TV.
